Iowa Barnstormers News Release
DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have made the decision to part ways with Head Coach Les Moss, President Jeff Lamberti and General Manager Juli Pettit announced today.
Les Moss took on the role as Head Coach of the Iowa Barnstormers just before the start of the 2021 training camp. Despite having minimal time to prepare for the season, Moss was able to lead the team into the playoffs. The Barnstormers are grateful for all that Moss did for the organization during this challenging season.
"On behalf of the Iowa Barnstormers, we thank Les for joining us on such short notice for this season," said Lamberti. "We knew the 2021 season would be difficult as we continued to navigate through a pandemic and are appreciative of Les for his dedication to the team and season. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
The Barnstormers will begin a nationwide search for a new Head Coach.
