DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers will host Heroes Night on Saturday, May 7 as they face off against the Colorado Crush. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. CDT at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Iowa Barnstormers will be honoring first responders throughout their game on Saturday, May 7 as they take on the Colorado Crush. Fans can come by Wells Fargo Arena early to take a look at the first responder vehicles that will be on display outside the building. The Des Moines Police Department, Des Moines Fire Department, and Animal Rescue League of Iowa will all be present throughout the game as they highlight local heroes.
In addition to honoring local heroes, the Barnstormers will be celebrating super heroes as they have teamed up with Wizard World Comic Con for the event. The Justice Corps of Iowa will be at the game and available for photos. Fans will have several opportunities to win passes to Wizard World Comic Con Des Moines which will take place at the Iowa Events Center May 13-15.
Epic Xposure will have their Selfie Station set up on the concourse through half-time for fans to stop by and take some photos to commemorate this event.
