Iowa Barnstormers Announce Youth Football Camp & Dance Clinic

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers take pride in their active role in the Des Moines community and are proud to announce the return of two interactive youth events, the Barnstormers Football Camp and the Storm Chasers Dance Clinic. Both events will coincide with the Barnstormers final home game on July 26, 2014 against the San Jose SaberCats.
The fourth annual Iowa Barnstormers Youth Football Camp is scheduled for Friday, July 25 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. The Football Camp is open to all kids ages 6-14 and will feature hands-on instruction by Barnstormers players and coaches. Campers will participate in various stations, learning a variety of different skills at multiple player positions. The cost of this camp is $20.00 in advance and $30.00 on the day of the camp. Registration includes a three hour football camp and one 100-level end zone ticket to the Barnstormers game on Saturday, July 26 versus the San Jose SaberCats. Participants will also be invited on-field during pre-game introductions to form a high-five tunnel for the Barnstormers players.
The 7th annual Storm Chasers Dance Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. The Dance Clinic is open to girls of all ages and will be hosted by the members of the Barnstormers Storm Chasers Dance Team. After learning a dance routine during the clinic, all dancers will return later that evening to perform their new routine at halftime of the Barnstormers game. The cost of this clinic is $35.00 in advance and $45.00 on the day of the event. Registration also includes a ticket to the Barnstormers game and a t-shirt.
