Iowa Barnstormers Announce 2023 Theme Nights

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have announced their Theme Night Schedule for the 2023 season.
The Iowa Barnstormers will host eight (8) home games at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines during the 2023 regular season. All games will kickoff at 7:05 p.m. with doors opening to the public at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 22 - Blackout Night
The Iowa Barnstormers will be hosting a BLACKOUT during their 2023 home opener as the team takes on the Tulsa Oilers on Saturday, April 22. The Barnstormers will be sporting their all-black uniforms and fans are encouraged to wear all-black to the game.
The first 1,000 fans will receive a FREE Blackout T-Shirt courtesy of Scrap Processors, Inc.
The Home Opener will also feature $2 beers through the first half of the game. Enjoy 12oz Bud Light and Coors Light with this promotion.
Saturday, May 6 - Billy's Birthday Party
Celebrate Billy the Barnstormer on his Birthday! The Iowa Barnstormers are inviting YOU and all of Billy's mascot friends to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, May 6 as the team takes on the Quad City Steamwheelers!
The first 1,000 kids (12 and under) at the game will receive a FREE youth replica throwback jersey!
Don't you worry - replica throwback jerseys will be available in all sizes at THE HANGAR, the Iowa Barnstormers Official Game Day Store, at this game as well! Jerseys will remain available for purchase throughout the season while supplies last.
Billy's Birthday Game will also feature $1 hot dogs through the first half of the game.
Saturday, May 13 - Education Night
Join the Iowa Barnstormers as they recognize our incredible Iowa educators, honor and encourage students of all ages, and celebrate education on Saturday, May 13 as the team takes on the Massachusetts Pirates.

Friday, May 26 - Military Night
The Iowa Barnstormers will host their Annual Military Night Game on Friday, May 26 as they take on the Sioux Falls Storm.
The evening will be dedicated to honoring and recognizing our veteran and active-duty Military personnel.
Saturday, June 3 - Family Night presented by J&D Restaurants
The Iowa Barnstormers have teamed up with J&D Restaurants for Family Night on Saturday, June 3 as the Barnstormers face the Green Bay Blizzard. More details on this event will be available soon.
Mark your calendars because the June 3rd game will also feature the Animal Rescue League of Iowa's Halftime Corgi Chase! Registration details to come.
Saturday, June 17 - First Responders Night
The Iowa Barnstormers will be hosting their Annual First Responders Night on Saturday, June 17 as the team takes on the Quad City Steamwheelers.
The evening will be dedicated to honoring and recognizing our local heroes including police, fire, EMS, and local hospital workers.
Saturday, July 8 - 90's Night
The Iowa Barnstormers will host their Annual 90's Night on Saturday, July 8 as they once again face the Sioux Falls Storm. The game will feature throwback music, trivia, and more from the decade that started it all for the Barnstormers.

Saturday, July 15 - Tailgate Night
The Iowa Barnstormers will be bringing the tailgate indoors as the team takes on the Frisco Fighters in the final regular season game of the year on Saturday, July 15. The game will feature tailgate games on the concourse and throughout the game as the Barnstormers party their way into the playoffs.
