
Intimidators Drop Third Straight 11-3 To Asheville

Kannapolis, NC - The Intimidators dropped their third straight to Asheville 11-3 in front of the biggest crowd of the young season at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. A season-best 3,330 packed the stands to cheer on the Intimidators in the loss.
Jim Gallagher led the offensive effort by going 3-for-4. Joe Persichina went 1-for-5 with a run batted in and Christian Marrero drove in a run too.
RHP Jason Rice got the start for Kannapolis and gave up one run in the first inning. He settled down to work scoreless frames in the second, third and fourth. Asheville exploded for two runs in the fifth and scored five in a sixth to open up an 8-0 lead.
