High Point/Thomasville, NC - For the first time in its 78 year history, the High Point-Thomasville HiToms will play host to an international squad when the national team from Chinese Taipei visits Historic Finch Field Sunday, June 21st.

Welcoming the USA Collegiate National team in 2013 and the Japanese Collegiate National/USA CNT exhibition in 2014, the HiToms will once again serve as an international, baseball power's summer tour stop when with the Taiwanese visit the High Point/Thomasville area.

"Our organization is truly honored to welcome one of the world's pre-emanate baseball powers," HiToms President Greg Suire said. "The cultural significance of baseball in Chinese Taipei rivals America's passion and it is a great honor for the HiToms organization to share in this celebration."

Game time for the international contest will be 5:00 p.m. and all Box Seat, season-ticket packages will include the Chinese Taipei showdown. Individual game tickets for the Chinese Taipei contest are for sale now!
