
Inter Miami CF to Face the San Jose Earthquakes for the First Time on Wednesday

Inter Miami CF (7W-10L-5D, 26 points) kicks off its longest road trip of the 2022 MLS regular season, which will feature two matches, with its first-ever matchup the San Jose Earthquake (5W-9L-8D, 23 points) on Wednesday, August 3. Kick off at PayPal Park is set for 10:30 p.m. ET.

Inter Miami CF teamed up with Heineken to launch the Heineken Pub Partner Program in order to provide the best experience for fans in South Florida during all the club's away matches of the 2022 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
Thriller at DRV PNK Stadium
Inter Miami will carry on with MLS action after a thrilling 4-4 draw against FC Cincinnati at DRV PNK Stadium on July 30. Gonzalo Higuaín, who scored the second hat trick in club history, and Chris McVey, who tied the match in the dying moments, netted the team's goals in the match.
With the draw, Inter Miami extended its positive run playing at home, having lost only once in its past 10 home games across all competitions.
MLS Player of the Week and Team of the Week Honors for Higuaín
The recognition comes after the Argentine notched a first-half hat trick Saturday July 30, at DRV PNK Stadium in a 4-4 draw against FC Cincinnati. Higuaín became the first-ever Inter Miami player, and just the third MLS player this season, to score three goals in the first half of a match. Higuaín is Inter Miami's second MLS Player of the Week nominee this season, joining Campana in Week 6, and the only player in club history to earn multiple MLS Player of the Week honors after winning the award in Week 5 of 2021.
First Matchup in Club History Against the Earthquakes
Wednesday's visit to PayPal Park will see Inter Miami face off against San Jose for the first time in club history.
San Jose, meanwhile, is coming off of a 2-2 home draw against Real Salt Lake on July 30. The Earthquakes currently sits in 13th place in the Western Conference standings with record of five wins, nine losses and eight draws, with the side being led by forward Jeremy Ebobisse, who's registered 12 goals and an assist so far this season.
