Inter Miami CF Host Vasco Da Gama, Introduces Venezuelan Striker Josef Martínez to Fans

MIAMI - Inter Miami CF hosted historic Brazilian side CR Vasco da Gama on Saturday night at DRV PNK Stadium for the Club's first official friendly of the 2023 preseason. The friendly presented a contested back and forth fixture between the matches as Inter Miami's fans got to see the team in action for the first time this year.

"We want to promote our young players too, so it was a great night to see them perform at a really good level. I think the second half of the kids were sensational... I think we are in a really really strong position and we are just going to keep building and getting fitter and sharper with more rhythm," said head coach Phil Neville

The match saw both sides create danger in the opposition's goal throughout the full 90 minutes, but it was the visitors that came out victorious 0-3 with goals by veteran and Vasco star Nenê, attacker midfielder Alex Teixeira and young forward Lucas Figueredo.
