Inter Miami CF News Release

MLS NEXT announced today that Inter Miami CF Academy product Tyler Hall has been selected for this year's edition of the MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate. The defender will be a member of the East team in the second edition of the annual event, which is scheduled to take place at the Naval Academy's Glenn Warner Soccer Facility in Annapolis, Md. on Wednesday, July 19 at 10:30 a.m. ET. This year's MLS NEXT All-Star Game will be free to the public and live streamed from MLS NEXT's (@mlsnext) TikTok account with multiple access points in the app.

Hall, 17, was selected as one of the top 44 best youth soccer players in North America to play in this year's MLS NEXT All-Star Game and have the once-in-a-lifetime player experience during MLS All-Star Week. All 29 MLS academies had at least one player selected to the roster, and nine clubs had multiple selections, while five non-MLS academies will also be represented in Annapolis as players showcase their talent on the national stage in an East vs. West showdown.

Hall made his professional debut with Inter Miami CF II last season in the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro regular season while being on an Academy contract before signing with the Second Team in March of this year. Prior to signing in 2023, the defender also played for the Club's U-17 Academy Side, notably featuring in the team's run to the 2022 Generation Adidas Cup semifinals. He also made nine appearances with six starts for the Second Team in 2022, including starting the team's first match of the season, a 2-0 win over Columbus Crew 2 in which he became the youngest starter in the league in its first week, then only 16 years old. So far in 2023, he has made 11 appearances, nine of them starts, registering a total of 832 minutes. At the international level, Hall has consistently been called up by the U.S. youth national teams, most recently featuring and captaining the U.S. U-17 MYNT throughout the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship as the team qualified for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be played later this year.

Last year, Inter Miami's Academy was the academy with the most representatives in the inaugural edition of the game with four representatives: coach Javier Morales, defender Israel Boatwright, midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi and attacker Kobi Thomas. Cremaschi has gone on to sign for the Club's First Team as a Homegrown and has had an impact throughout the 2023 MLS regular season, Boatwright was signed to a professional contract by Inter Miami II and consistently features in MLS NEXT Pro action, and Thomas features for the Academy's U-19 side that recently clinched the UPSL Florida South Division title and also plays for Inter Miami II in MLS NEXT Pro on an Academy contract.
