Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats host the Ottawa Renegades this Friday night at 7:30 at Ivor Wynne Stadium. This is the final regular season home game of the year for the Tiger-Cats, and it promises to be a memorable night. There are several story lines in this one:
28,635 Fans are needed to surpass a regular season attendance mark of 250,000, for the first time in team history.
272 Yards needed for Danny McManus to hit the 50,000 career yards passing mark. Only two other CFL quarterbacks have surpassed that mark, Damon Allen and Ron Lancaster.
54 Yards needed by Troy Davis to become the all-time leading rusher in Tiger-Cats history. The record is 4,270, set by Gerry McDougall.
2 Former Tiger-Cat greats, Jake Gaudaur and Grover Covington, will be inducted into the Hamilton Tiger-Cat Wall of Honour.
1 Victory away from securing a playoff berth for the first time in three seasons.
