High school and college coaches, whom want to promote baseball in the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, form the IEBCA, Inland Empire Baseball Coaches Association. The IEBCA has put on two Senior Showcases: November of 2008 and December of 2009 that were held at Arrowhead Credit Union Park. Over fifty college coaches and professional scouts have attended these two showcases. The association was officially formed two years ago and meets once a month. Local college coaches and pro scouts have attended these meetings in order to help with our mission. All those that are currently coaching high school and/or college in the Inland Empire are welcomed to become members of the IEBCA.
The IEBCA congratulations those seniors who are participating in today's 2010 Inland Empire Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game. The game will feature the best senior players from West San Bernardino County against the best senior players from East San Bernardino County. Players from the Citrus Belt League and San Andreas League shape the East Team. Players from the Sunkist, Baseline, Sierra, Mt. Baldy, Christian and from the Desert Leagues occupy the West Team.
The East All-stars will be the visitors and they will wear gray pants and with their school's colored top along with their hat. The West All-stars will be the home team and they will wear white pants with their school's colored top and hat. Each member of the IEBCA has at least one senior on the all-star team and the IEBCA committee placed the rest in order to get the best 48 players to represent the county. The IEBCA wishes to thank Arrowhead Credit Union Park, the staff of the Inland Empire 66ers, and today's umpires for making this event possible.
