
Inferno Announce Pink in the Rink Weekend

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia Inferno announce that they will feature the first ever "Pink in the Rink" weekend on Friday, February 9 at 7:05pm and Saturday, February 10 at 1:05pm to benefit the Palmetto Health South Carolina Comprehensive Breast Center.
The Inferno will wear special dark pink jerseys to commemorate the event at both games. Ten of the 20 game worn jerseys will be auctioned from the ice following the game on Saturday. The other 10 jerseys are currently available for anyone to win in a raffle. Tickets can be purchased at the Inferno customer service table and all proceeds will be donated to the foundation. There are 10 pink boxes at customer service for you to choose how you would like to use your raffle tickets.
"Our front office staff and players are excited to be a part of this worthy cause and to help in our own special way to raise money for breast cancer," commented Head Coach and Assistant Manager Troy Mann. "We encourage everyone to come out and support our Pink in the Rink to benefit the Palmetto Health South Carolina Comprehensive Breast Center."
"This event is a new way for our current supporters to be involved but a great way to reach a new audience," said Beth Blackmon, Director of Public Relations, Palmetto Health Foundation. "The passion the Columbia Inferno has showed for our breast cancer survivors is heartwarming. It's the "feel good" Inferno games of the year!"
The ticket package available includes two tickets to either game for $25 with $12.50 of each package benefiting the Palmetto Health South Carolina Comprehensive Breast Center. You will be automatically entered to win a signed pink jersey with each package purchased. Ticket packages can be purchased by calling the Inferno front office at 256-7825.
The Inferno takes some time off during the ECHL All-Star break and will return to action on Friday, January 19 at 7:05pm as they host the Augusta Lynx at 7:05pm. Tickets are available by calling 251-2222 or visiting the Carolina Coliseum Box Office.
