
INF Joey DeMichele promoted to Double-A Birmingham

Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster move affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- INF Joey DeMichele promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem
A staple of the Dash's roster since the start of the 2013 season, DeMichele hit .264 with four homers and 42 RBIs in 105 games with the Dash this year. Last season, DeMichele posted a .246 average with eight homers and 54 RBIs. The Phoenix native hit the first ever walk-off grand slam in BB&T Ballpark on August 24, 2013, which was one of three walk-off hits for him that season.
The Dash's roster currently stands at 24 players, one shy of the Carolina League maximum.
