INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, February 20, 2014) - The following is a statement from Indy Eleven Owner Ersal Ozdemir regarding this afternoon's vote by the Indiana House Ways and Means Committee to amend Indiana Senate Bill SB 308:
"On behalf of Indy Eleven, its 7,000 season ticket holders and the hundreds of thousands of Hoosiers with a connection to the 'world's game,' I want to express my deep gratitude to the leadership and members of the House Ways and Means Committee for their bi-partisan vote today to allow our multi-purpose stadium proposal to move forward.
"We stand ready to work with legislators to discuss what Indy Eleven's success will mean to the state's economy and soccer enthusiasts across Indiana."
