Fort Lauderdale Strikers News Release
Fort Lauderdale, FL (February 20, 2014) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have launched their new website in partnership with PERFORM, the world's leading digital sports content group. The new site displays not only a new look and new features, but provides a uniform look throughout the NASL.
"We are excited to work with PERFORM on providing our fans a fantastic website where they can catch up with all the latest information on the Strikers and watch all our games and video content via PERFORM's platform," said Strikers VP of Sales & Marketing Communications Leo Sarmiento.
PERFORM commercializes multimedia sports content across internet-enabled digital platforms, driving revenues through a mix of content distribution, advertising and sponsorship, the development and management of subscription platforms and technology and production. PERFORM owns one of the largest digital sports rights portfolios, including leading U.S. soccer site Goal.com, through contracts covering more than 200 sports and their associated leagues, tournaments and events.
"We are excited to enhance our digital presence through PERFORM and believe the league and club websites will become an essential destination for soccer fans around the world by becoming part of a larger online entity," said NASL Commissioner Bill Peterson. "We have an opportunity to become a market leader in content and style while also driving revenues through digital platforms for the NASL and our clubs."
