Indy Eleven Confirms New Dates for Three USL Championship Regular Season Matches
May 2, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Indy Eleven News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven Professional Soccer has finalized new dates for three home games at Lucas Oil Stadium during the back half of its 2019 USL Championship regular season calendar. The date changes were necessitated after the National Football League released the Indianapolis Colts' preseason and regular season schedules in April.
The new dates for the three affected games are as follows:
Sunday, Aug. 18 vs. Saint Louis FC at 6:00 p.m. (previously Saturday, Aug. 17)
Sunday, Aug. 25 vs. Charlotte Independence at 6:00 p.m. (previously Saturday, Aug. 24)
Wednesday, Oct. 16 vs. Swope Park Rangers at 7:00 p.m. (previously Saturday, Oct. 19)
For the team's full 2019 schedule, visit www.indyeleven.com/schedules.
"While moving matches from Saturdays are never ideal for our fans, we are glad to have worked with Lucas Oil Stadium, the USL and our opponents to keep two of these three games on weekend dates," said Greg Stremlaw, Indy Eleven President and Chief Executive Officer.
Local broadcast details for these three games on Indy Eleven's television partner, WISH-TV, will be announced in the coming days. All three games will be streamed live online on ESPN+.
Indy Eleven continues its five-game month of May in the Circle City this Saturday, May 4, against North Carolina FC. Tickets are available for as low as $15 at IndyEleven.com/Tickets or by calling 317-685-1100. Kickoff on "Brad Ring Night" in honor of the club legend is set for 7:00 p.m. for a match that will air live on WISH-TV and online via ESPN+.
