Central to Indy Eleven's annual Hispanic Heritage Night celebrations, the Campeones de la Comunidad Awards are bestowed each year to peer-nominated leaders across a variety of civic and industry categories. Rather than restrict nominees to categories, for the 2020 edition Indy Eleven will accept general nominations, with an emphasis placed on citizens combating two issues disproportionately effecting the Hispanic population across the United States this year - the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing effort to stamp out systemic racism affecting communities of color.
This year's honorees will join the more than 30 Hoosiers who have received the award since Indy Eleven's first season on the field in 2014.
