
Individual game tickets now on sale

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. â- In preparation for the April 8 opener at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, the Suns have released tickets for individual game purchases via phone or in person.
Tickets for all 70 Suns home games â in any quantity â are available at this time. Fans wishing to secure their seats in advance also may purchase tickets online at www.jaxsuns.com.
"We're seeing a significantly growing interest about this upcoming season," Suns general manager Peter Bragan, Jr. said. "That tells us our fans enjoyed themselves last year and that many new folks are eager about coming to the Baseball Grounds for the first time."
All season, tickets may be purchased online through the Suns website, www.jaxsuns.com, by calling the Suns at (904) 358-2846 or in person at the Suns box office, located on the Adams Street side of the Baseball Grounds at the corner of A. Philip Randolph Blvd. Individual game ticket prices remained unchanged and are priced at $5.50, $7.50, $10.50 and $15.50.
The Suns box office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. During the season, the box office opens at 9 a.m. and closes in the fifth inning on all game days. On weekdays when the Suns are on the road, box office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. When the team is away during the season, the box office is closed on weekends.
Season tickets, group outings of 25 or more, parties, skybox rentals and sponsorships at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville are already available.
Peter Bragan, Sr., celebrates his 20th season of ownership beginning 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, when the Suns play the Tennessee Smokies at the Baseball Grounds as part of an seven-game, season-opening homestand.
SUNS HIRING SEASONAL EMPLOYEES: The Suns are hiring part-time, seasonal employees for the upcoming 2004 baseball season. Interested parties may apply in person at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, weekdays, 4-6 p.m., or Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interviews will only take place during these times. The Suns are seeking help in the following areas: tickets, concessions, wait staff, ushers, Sunbeams, cooks and field crew. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential to success.
