Stephen Head's two homerun four RBI performance propelled Kinston to 7 to 2 victory in game one of Friday nights against the Potomac Nationals. Kinston took a two to nothing lead in the top of the fourth, after solo homerun by Stephen Head. Head came back with a three run blast in the sixth, his eighth homerun of the year. It was part of a five run sixth inning for the Indians, where Kinston sent 11 batters to the plate. Every batter in the line up reached safely for Kinston as they banged out 12 hits in this seven-inning game. Kevin Dixon (4-1) won his third straight game giving up four hits and two earned runs in five innings of work.
