Avalanche Drop Fourth Straight One-Run Game 4-3

The Avalanche let a 3-0 lead slip away in the seventh inning, and fell to Winston-Salem 4-3 in ten innings Friday Night in Salem.

The Warthogs received a two-out RBI double from C Cole Armstrong to plate the winning run in extra innings.

With the loss the Avalanche have dropped four straight at home; all by one run.

Salem SS Edwin Maysonet 2-for-5 with two-RBI in the loss in his first game back from the break.

The Avalanche close their three-game series with the Warthogs Saturday at 7:07 PM. It will be "Superstar" Night at the ballpark and a raffle will be held to give away nine free televisions after each inning Saturday Night.
