Burlington Sock Puppets News Release
For the second consecutive night Burlington pitching was superb, as the Indians shutout the Bristol Sox, 2-0.
Burlington received six shutout innings from Gerson Mercedes, (5-5), who recorded his third consecutive win.
Indians SS Jose Ortega was 2-for-4 with a run scored extending his hit streak to nine games.
Burlington will bring it's 18 inning shutout streak into Monday Night's duel with the Bristol Sox. Gametime is set for 7PM.
