
Indianapolis Indians Announce Dinner on the Diamond, a Unique Culinary Experience Coming to Victory Field on June 5

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians, in conjunction with Victory Field Events, today announced that tickets are now on sale for Dinner on the Diamond, a unique, immersive culinary experience featuring a ballpark-inspired five-course dinner hosted on the playing surface of Victory Field. The inaugural Dinner on the Diamond is set for 6 PM on Thursday, June 5, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Indianapolis Indians Charities.
"Dinner on the Diamond is a unique opportunity for fans to experience Victory Field like never before, with an elegant atmosphere and delicious, upscale menu provided by Tinker Street to match," said Joel Zawacki, Indianapolis Indians vice president and chief commercial officer. "We are excited for this inaugural event and to continue expanding Victory Field's reputation as a versatile, premier event space in the Circle City."
Upon entry to the ballpark, guests will be treated to a cocktail hour featuring signature beverages in the Elements Financial Club overlooking downtown Indianapolis before making their way down to the field for dinner.
The hand-crafted menu by Chef Tyler of Tinker Street features ballpark favorites, elevated with bold flavors and elegant execution for a fine-dining experience. Attendees can expect to be transported into classic baseball tastes, with the five-course menu bookended by tastes of peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jack. Each course is accompanied with a hand-crafted cocktail, non-alcoholic mocktail or glass of wine.
First Course - Peanut Hummus & Textures of Peanut
Smooth peanut hummus with crispy peanut tuiles, spiced peanut brittle, smoked paprika oil, pickled grapes, and toasted naan crisps
Second Course - Smoked Pulled Pork Tostada
House-smoked BBQ pulled pork atop a crispy corn tostada, finished with smoked cheddar espuma, pickled red onions, jalapeño crema, and micro cilantro
Third Course - Crispy Chicken Duo with Potato Pavé
Buttermilk-brined, tempura-fried chicken tenders paired with a confit chicken croquette, served alongside crispy potato pavé, house ranch, and a drizzle of hot honey
Fourth Course - Reimagined Ballpark Dog
House-made pretzel bun with charred wagyu beef sausage, beer mustard gel, sauerkraut espuma, everything-seasoned aioli, and crispy shallots
Fifth Course - Sweet Corn Ice Cream Sundae
Silky sweet corn ice cream with bourbon caramel, Cracker Jack crumble, and a mini chocolate-dipped waffle cone, served in a custom baseball helmet with Tinker Street and Indianapolis Indians press-on tattoos
Representatives from Tinker Street will present each dish and designated beverage pairing upon serving.
"Tinker Street specializes in crafting premier culinary experiences, and Dinner on the Diamond is no exception," said Jourdan Ivory, restaurant operations manager of Tinker Street Restaurant and Wine Bar. "We are looking forward to guests encountering tastes of the ballpark like never before, with five courses uniquely crafted for everyone's inner baseball fan."
Tickets for Dinner on the Diamond can be purchased individually for $225 or in tables of eight (8) for $1,800 at VictoryField.com. An opportunity to submit dietary restrictions, beverage choices and seating preferences will be available during the purchasing process. Seats are limited and available for purchase until Thursday, May 29 at 11:59 PM EDT.
