
Independence Welcome Community to Free U.S. Open Cup Game

Charlotte Independence News Release
Charlotte (NC) - The Charlotte Independence professional soccer team will host either Miami FC or Florida Soccer Soldiers on Tuesday, May 14th at the Sportsplex at Matthews in the Second Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The event will be open to the community with free admission for the game.
Gates will open at 6:00 PM ET and kickoff will be at 7:00 PM ET. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site, the same as a typical Independence regular-season game. 2019 Independence Season Members will receive priority on their regular seats. Please contact your Account Representative for further questions. All other seating will be general admission on a first come, first serve basis. Parking lots will open at 5:00 PM ET and will be free.
The Independence's opponent will be determined by the First Round result on May 7th. All U.S. Open Cup games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
