Tribbett Named to USL Team of the Week

TAMPA - Nashville Soccer Club defender Ken Tribbett continued his great run of form on Saturday, helping lead the defensive charge to NSC's fourth clean sheet of the year in a 2-0 win. For his efforts, Tribbett was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 9, his third honor this season. It's his second time on Team of the Week in addition to one appearance on the USL's Team of the Week bench.
Tribbett was nearly perfect defensively, going 6 for 6 in duals won and 4 for 4 in aerial duals won. He also provided four clearances and two interceptions for NSC in the win. Tribbett has been a force in the back for Nashville, starting seven of the eight matches so far this season.
Tribbett is the first Nashville SC player to be named to two full Team of the Weeks this season. Other Nashville SC players to make a Team of the Week include Daniel RÃos, Matt LaGrassa (bench) and Ropapa Mensah (bench).
