Independence Team up with Aftermarket & Custom Auto Partner, Rimz One
October 8, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) - Charlotte Independence News Release
Charlotte (NC) - The Charlotte Independence professional soccer team and the Charlotte Independence Soccer Club have joined in partnership with Rimz One. A local business and online retailer for automobile performance parts, installation and accessories, makes your ordinary vehicle a one-of-a-kind ride.
"We've been blessed to grow our local business into a leading on-line business in our category," said Emily Mashburn, co-owner of Rimz One. "We make normal cars cool, exciting and one-of-a-kinds, even soccer mom vehicles," added Mike Mashburn, co-ower of Rimz One. "We also love investing in the region's youth and helping make a difference in the community. Aligning with the Charlotte Independence Soccer Club and pro team allows us to give back and make the region a better place to live through sports."
With a strong line-up of digital and event assets from the men's professional soccer team and the added reach and direct marketing capabilities of the youth academy, Rimz One will leverage the partnership to reach the 12,000 academy families, the entire Charlotte region and entire country, driving substantial web traffic to the company's website, www.RimzOne.com and to the company's showroom and installation shop located in Mooresville, NC.
"We're excited to continue to grow the soccer community in the Charlotte region and join companies that share our vision of making Charlotte a better place to live, through sports," said Tim Schuldt Chief Revenue Officer for the Independence. "We're thrilled to partner with Rimz One and help them grow their local and on-line business to the next level."
The new agreement delivers benefits through the 2020 Charlotte Independence season and positions Rimz One with the opportunity to extend their category partnership with the pro team, when they transition to their new home at the all new American Legion Memorial Stadium in uptown Charlotte.
