Charlotte Independence News Release
CHARLOTTE, NC - Queen City Soccer Club LLC today announced that Sycamore Brewing has signed on as an Official Beer Partner of the Charlotte Independence through the 2017 season. In addition, Sycamore Brewing will serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Independence's July 13 friendly with Premier League club Swansea City.
Elements of the partnership include stadium signage, hospitality, promotions, print and digital advertising, as well as dedicated tap space for Sycamore Brewing beverages in the concession areas at Ramblewood Stadium. As a preferred Pub Partner, Sycamore Brewing also will host some away game watch parties during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, official dates to be determined.
"Sycamore Brewing is very excited to forge this new partnership with the Charlotte Independence," said the brewery's Sales Manager Joe Burriss. "Just as the Independence thrives on the support of our great Charlotte community, so too does Sycamore, and we are very much looking forward to allowing our supporters who are avid fans of The Beautiful Game to enjoy themselves even more at these matches. Additionally, Sycamore Brewing truly appreciates the Charlotte Independence's support of the fantastic local beer scene in the Queen City, and we look forward to serving great beer along with some of our other local breweries. From a sport standpoint, the excitement for soccer in our country is strong and continuing to grow each day, and we are proud to stand behind our local team and wish them great success in the remainder of this season and beyond."
Sycamore Brewing is the 11th new sponsor the Independence has added for the 2016 season. Their beers will be available for sale at Ramblewood Stadium beginning with the next home game on July 9. The brewery's presence will then be expanded for the July 13 friendly.
