COMING THIS WEEK
FCC entertains Bethlehem Steel FC this Sat., at 6:00 p.m. with the game being aired on Local 12.
FCC is third in the USL Eastern Conference with 28 points and a 8-2-4 league mark.
The club will recognize "Hometown Heroes" this week with a salute to all military and first responders.
American flags will be handed out to the first 5,000 fans.
The Ohio National Guard will host an interactive station on the concourse during the match.
BONE HONORED ON USL TEAM OF THE WEEK
Corben Bone was tabbed an "honorable mention" on the USL Team of the Week.
It was the first time Bone was recognized by the league this year.
Bone helped FCC secure a key road point in a marquee match-up at Louisville City FC last week.
He has started in 15 of the team's 16 matches and is the leader with four assists.
STREAK STAYS ALIVE
The team looks to build on its 10-game unbeaten streak in USL matches and protect a 6-1-2 home record.
FCC hasn't suffered a loss in over two months of action in league play.
The last USL defeat came at the hands of Louisville City FC on Apr. 16.
CLEAN SHEET FOR HILDEBRANDT
Mitch Hildebrandt posted four saves and held Louisville City FC without a goal to log his third shutout of the season.
The Livonia, Mich. native has made the start in 15 games.
He has a 0.93 goals-against average with 42 saves in league games, Hildebrandt is sixth in the USL.
He is in a four-way tie for first with 1,260 minutes played.
SCORING HALTED
FCC was held without a tally for just the third time this season.
The team is tied for eighth in the USL in goals scored with 21, sharing the spot with Harrisburg City.
Prior to the draw, the last time FCC was held scoreless in a USL contest was in a 1-0 loss to Charleston Battery in the season opener.
FCC is fifth in the USL with 13 second-half goals.
ABOUT BETHLHEM STEEL FC
Bethlehem Steel FC is ninth in the Eastern Conference standings at 4-4-6 and 18 points.
The Steel is unbeated in four of the last five matches and collected ties against Richmond Kickers (0-0) and Wilmington Hammerheads FC (1-1) the last two weekends of play.
The team is nearing the end of a five-match road swing which closes against Toronto FC II (Jul. 6).
Derrick Jones, Ryan Richter, Fabian Herbers annd Eric Ayuk have two goals each to lead the team.
THE SERIES
FCC's first-ever win came against Bethlehem Steel FC in the club's second game of the year.
FCC took a two-goal lead in the first half behind Andrew Wiedeman and Sean Okoli.
Steel FC cut the lead in the half in the 90th minute on Eric Ayuk's goal.
