Inclement Weather Washes out Lugnuts/Cubs Finale

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The scheduled Sunday rubber match of the Lansing Lugnuts/South Bend Cubs three-game series was postponed due to inclement weather at Four Winds Field.

The game will be made up as a doubleheader in the Lugnuts' return to South Bend on Wednesday, June 12th, beginning at 5:05 p.m.

The Nuts (4-6) head on to the second leg of their six-game road trip, opening a three-game series at Fifth Third Ballpark against the West Michigan Whitecaps at 6:05 p.m. Monday.

The next Lansing Lugnuts home game will be this Thursday, opening a six-game, seven-day homestand: a Labatt Blue Thirsty Thursday: The Purge Night! Sometime during the game, a siren will sound - at which point all food and non-alcoholic beverages are free until the inning comes to an end!
