IceDogs Trade Nardi to Steelheads
September 2, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release
The Niagara IceDogs have announced that defenceman Daniel Nardi has been traded to the Mississauga Steelheads, in exchange for an 8th round selection (2019).
Nardi is a former ninth round pick (2017) of the IceDogs, and played 3 games for the IceDogs in the 2017-2018 season.
GM Joey Burke acknowledged the difficulty in making this roster movement, saying "I want to thank Daniel for everything he's done here in Niagara, he has a bright future ahead and deserves the opportunity he will be provided in Mississauga. With our depth and age this is a move that makes sense for everyone involved. I wish Daniel nothing but success in Mississauga and beyond".
The Niagara IceDogs would like to wish Daniel the best of luck in Mississauga.
