IceDogs Trade Incze to Spitfires
December 4, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release
The Niagara IceDogs have announced that third year goaltender Colton Incze has been traded to the Windsor Spitfires, in exchange for their 4th round pick (2022)
Incze is a former fifth round selection (2015) of the IceDogs, and has been with the team since the 2016-2017 season.
GM Joey Burke feels this movement is best for Colton's development and the IceDogs going forward, in saying "It's always tough to move a guy like Colton but at the end of the day this is the best fit for everybody. It gives him the opportunity to be a starter now that he's earned. With the emergence of Christian Sbragalia it allowed us to provide Colton this opportunity."
The Niagara IceDogs would like to thank Colton for all he has done to help our team grow over the past two years, and wish him the best of luck in Windsor.
