Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs played their third exhibition game versus the Guelph Storm.
The Storm came out hot getting the first of the game. However, Niagara's Waddick slipped in a nice one to quickly tie the game up. Swiss import, Dionicio, gets one with less than 2 minutes remaining in the first.
The IceDogs end the first 20 with a 2-1 lead.
In the second period, Cameron Snow got a beautiful goal, bringing the Dogs to a 3-1 lead. The storm Quickly replied to this goal, ending the period 3-2 in favour of Niagara.
The third period saw some fast and exciting hockey. De Simone ripped a quick one, putting the dogs out front. However, the storm came back hard and fast, scoring a total of 4 goals late in the third period.
Ultimately, the Storms late comeback took the win with a final score of 6-4.
The exhibition series continues tomorrow night as the dogs take on the storm at home.
