Adam Barkley Commits to Steelheads

MISSISSAUGA, ON - Steelheads General Manager and Head Coach James Richmond announced Friday the signing of 2020 third round pick Adam Barkley to a Standard Players Agreement with the club.

The Inkleman, ON, native was originally selected in the third round (46th overall) by the Steelheads in the 2020 OHL U18 Priority Selection. In the 2019-20 season with the Kemptville 73's of the HEO, Barkley tallied 31 points in 45 games.

Richmond commented on the new signing: "Adam is a strong physical defenceman that will be tough to play against. We look forward to watching Adam's development over the year and seeing him in the blue and white."

The Steelheads would like to welcome Adam and his family to Mississauga.
