In the 3rd period, the IceDogs completed their offensive attack by outscoring the Petes 4-1. An Owens power-play goal was followed by an even-strength tally by Swift, a shorthanded strike by Legein and an even-strength goal by Fuller. Sandwiched in between was a Peterborough goal by Steve Lock, with assists to Rizzi and Kyle Raftis. The 3rd period IceDogs helpers were credited to Owens (2), Martine, Lawrence, Legein, Kyle Lamb and Josh Day.
