IceDogs Get Huge Overtime Win

The Niagara IceDogs got a huge 4-3 overtime win over the Ottawa 67's to tie the series Wednesday night at the Meridian Centre.
The IceDogs found themselves behind just 2:33 into the first period, as Travis Konecny converted on a breakaway to make it 1-0 for the 67's. The lead wouldn't last long, however, thanks to Josh Ho-Sang's first goal of the postseason.
Vince Dunn gave the IceDogs a 2-1 lead midway through the second period with his team-leading fifth goal of the playoffs, before Nathan Todd answered for the 67's to tie it 2-2.
Evan de Haan gave the 67's a 3-2 lead 1:24 into the third period. It would stay that way until Graham Knott capitalized on a pass by Dunn with under three minutes left to tie the game and send the Meridian Centre into a frenzy. Regulation solved nothing and overtime would be needed to settle game four.
Brendan Perlini tied the series and sent the fans home happy with his second goal of the playoffs at 6:03 of the extra frame, when he beat 67's goaltender Liam Herbst over the shoulder with a beautiful wrist shot.
Brandon Hope made 21 saves for the IceDogs in the win.
Game five is Friday night in Ottawa as the IceDogs look to take a 3-2 lead in the series.
