Ryan Strome, Freddie Hamilton and Jason Wilson each recorded three-points, while Mark Visentin played another solid game between the pipes as the Niagara IceDogs captured a 3-1 win over the Brampton Battalion Sunday afternoon in Brampton.

After a scoreless first period, the IceDogs opened things up just 21 seconds into the second as Ryan Strome made another unbelievable highlight-reel move to undress a Battalion defender and feed Freddie Hamilton in the slot to tally his 28th of the season. The goal would extend Hamilton's point streak to 17 games.

Strome continued to impress with some solid puck control in the Brampton zone, and after giving it to Mike Schwindt who let a rocket go from the point, Strome pounced on the rebound before Jason Wilson would finally put it into the net on a third whack to give the 'Dogs a two goal lead at the 4:03 mark of the frame.

The game's physicality would then pick up as Tim Billingsley answered the bell with Battalion captain Stephon Thorne after laying a big hit in the Niagara zone. The two battled it out, each landing a few blows before patting each other on the pads and taking a five minute break in the penalty box.

Following the fight, Freddie Hamilton continued the rapid-fire succession with his second goal of the night just moments later, while both Jason Wilson and Ryan Strome picked up their third points of the night on the play.

The iceDogs would take a 3-0 lead into the second intermission.

Niagara ran into some penalty troubles throughout the third period, but they managed to kill most of them off, including the Brampton's second five-on-three of the night.

Mark Visentin played another incredible game, making some impressive, clutch saves for the 'Dogs, but the Battalion managed to spoil what would have been his second consecutive shutout (fifth of the season) by scoring a goal on the power play with just 28 seconds left.

However, that would be as far as Brampton would get, and the IceDogs took a 3-1 victory on the road to finish the weekend.
