Niagara IceDogs News Release
Niagara IceDogs sophomore goaltender Stephen Dhillon has been named as one of the goaltenders for the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospect Game, being held at First Niagara Centre in Buffalo, NY on September 24th.
The game features the top American draft eligible players for the 2016 NHL Draft. Dhillon is one of 42 players named to the game, which will see a total of 11 OHL players in action.
The selection is another piece of recognition from USA Hockey for the IceDogs netminder, who was also a part of the US Under-18 team that took part in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in the Czech Republic earlier this month.
Dhillon becomes the second member of the IceDogs named to the game, joining Aaron Haydon who played in the 2013 edition of the game. Current IceDog Ryan Mantha also participated in the 2013 contest, prior to joining the IceDogs.
The entire IceDogs organization would like to congratulate Stephen on his selection and we look forward to seeing him in action in Buffalo next month!
