St. John's IceCaps News Release


ALBANY, NY -Chris Terry scored twice but the St. John's IceCaps dropped a 5-2 decision to the Albany Devils Saturday night at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y.

John Quenneville opened the scoring for the Devils, while Kevin Rooney's shorthanded marker put the home side up 2-0 in the first period. IceCaps forward Chris Terry scored consecutive goals (including a powerplay marker) to square the game at two in the second before the Devils regained the lead in the middle stanza on a fluky Ben Thomson goal. Blake Pietila and Max Novak (with an empty-netter) rounded out scoring for the Devils in the third. The IceCaps are in action again tomorrow (4:35PM) versus the Providence Bruins.
