
ICE Travel to Odessa

FORT COLLINS, CO - The Colorado ICE (3-6) face the Odessa Roughnecks (2-6) this Saturday, May 30th at 6:00 pm (MTN Time) on Odessa's home turf for the only time these two teams will face each other this season.
The Colorado ICE are coming off a 55-42 loss in a back-and-forth game against the Omaha Beef that included six lead changes. The Roughnecks are coming off a tough 61-42 road loss to the Wichita Wild. The Roughnecks have a solid all-around game and feature the IFL's defensive and offensive players of the week, WR Eric Taylor and LB Arthur Harris (both elected IFL players of the week on May 20th). The ICE showcase a dangerous offense led by WR Josh Gibson who is among the league leaders in all-purpose yards, and QB Justin Holland who is fresh off a six TD passing performance against Omaha.
"We made significant improvements in our last game against Omaha," stated ICE head coach Collins Sanders. "We continue to have a tough team that is battling every game. The Roughnecks have tremendous athletes and will prove to be a challenge for us."
This Saturday's game will be broadcast live via the Internet on the B2 network (B2tv.com) and on the radio on Northern Colorado's ESPN affiliate KJMP AM 870. The next ICE game is at home against the Alaska Wild on Saturday, June 6th at 7:00 pm.
The Colorado ICE are members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). All home games are played at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. Tickets for the 2009 season are now available at the Colorado ICE headquarters by calling (970) 472-0128. Single game tickets start at just $15 per seat and include all parking, ticketing, and facility fees.
