
Ice Reduce Roster to 26 Players

Cranbrook, BC -- Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced the club has reassigned five players to bring their roster down to 26.
Levi Cable 16 Hudson Bay, SK Right Wing Yorkton Harvest - SMHL
Colby Cave 16 Battleford, SK Left Wing Battlefords Stars - SMHL
Jeff Hubic 16 Regina, SK Defense Tisdale Trojans - SMHL
Jared Iron 16 Canoe Narrows, SK Right Wing Beardy's Blackhawks - SMHL
Mike Simpson 16 Surrey, BC Defense Delta Ice Hawks - PIJHL
As a result of today's transactions, the ICE are carrying four goaltenders, seven defencemen and 15 forwards. Of those, two are currently at NHL Training Camps ( Brayden McNabb - Buffalo, Steele Boomer - Chicago).
The first regular season home action for the ICE will be Saturday, September 25 against the Calgary Hitmen at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the Home Opener are available at the Kootenay ICE Office. Season Tickets are also available for pick up at the ICE Office.
