The Winnipeg ICE have recalled defenseman Jonas Woo from the Winnipeg Bruins of the Manitoba AAA U18 Hockey League for the remainder of the 2021-22 Western Hockey League season.
Woo, 15, was plus two and registered three shots on goal in five games earlier this season with the ICE.
The 5'9", 150 pound blue liner, from Winnipeg, was selected in the first round, 18th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
Woo had 28 points (six goals and 22 assists) along with 36 penalty minutes in 37 games with the Bruins this season.
He also registered one goal and one assist in three playoff games.
The ICE conclude a four game homestand tomorrow night, 7:00 at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena against the Brandon Wheat Kings as the Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffery Lawyers continues.
