
Ice Pilots Sign Rookie Fitzpatrick

Pensacola, Fla. â The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with owner Tim Kerr, announced that right wing Chanse Fitzpatrick (pronounced Chance) has signed a contract with the team for the 2004-2005 season.
Fitzpatrick, who stands 6'1" and weighs 220 pounds, played in 59 games for Sudbury last year in the Ontario Hockey League scoring 10 goals, 10 assists for 20 points and picked up 71 penalty minutes.
Fitzpatrick played in the OHL for Sarnia from 2001-2003 playing in 94 games scoring nine goals, twelve assists for 21 points and picked up 171 penalty minutes. He is 20 years old from Belleville, Ontario and shoots right.
Fitzpatrick, who came highly recommended to Ice Pilots Head Coach Dave Farrish from former NHLer and Sudbury Head Coach Mike Foligno, will be attending the Manitoba Moose training camp in the AHL this season.
"Chance is a very physical player and he was one of the top enforcers last season in the OHL. He definitely is going to add some toughness and grit up front as his presence will be known when he is on the ice," said Farrish.
The Ice Pilots under new Head Coach Dave Farrish will begin the 2004-2005 regular season at Mississippi on October 23 and play their home opener Saturday, October 30 vs. the Kelly Cup Finalists Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m.
Season tickets for all 36 home games for floor and glass seats are $649.44, side seats are $459.00, goal seats and lower upper seats are $411.84 and upper seats cost $324.00. 16 game plans, 8 game plans and flex packs also are available.
