Ice Pilots Pick Up 3 out of 4 Points vs Greenville

Ice Pilots Pick up 3 out of 4 Points last Weekend vs. Greenville: The Ice Pilots defeated the Greenville Grrrowl on Saturday night at the Pensacola Civic Center 4-3 in a shootout. Nick Lindberg, Shaun Landolt and Bryson Busniuk scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Adam Courchaine scored the only goal in the shootout. Todd Ford was the winning goalie stopping 42 out of 45 shots during regulation and stopped all five shooters in the shootout.
The Ice Pilots picked up a point in a 4-3 overtime loss vs. Greenville on Friday night at the Pensacola Civic Center. Adam Courchaine, Chris Heid and Nick Lindberg scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Heid forced an overtime by scoring a power play goal with twenty seconds left in regulation. David Cann picked up the overtime loss in goa! l for the Ice Pilots stopping 32 out of 36 shots.
Ice Pilots Host Phoenix Roadrunners this Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Friday night during the first intermission will be a ceremony for the "Voice of the Ice Pilots" Paul Chestnutt who will be broadcasting his last Ice Pilots game. Chestnutt has broadcast every single game in Ice Pilots history except two (He missed two games because of the birth of his son Matthew.) Baptist Health Care will also sponsor an intermission.
The Ice Pilots will also play at Gwinnett on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. central time.
Tentative Practice Schedule this week: The Ice Pilots will practice at the Civic Center on Monday through Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. and play Phoenix on Thursday and Friday at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will play at Gwinnett on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots will have Sunday off. Scheduled practice times can be chan! ged.
Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Adam Courchaine has been nomi nated for the ECHL Player of the week. Courchaine scored on goal and picked up three assists in the two games vs. Greeenville and also scored the only goal in the shootout on Saturday night vs. Greenville. Todd Ford has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Adam Courchaine has been named the Dodge Player of the Week.

The voting will end on February 21, 2006. The New York Nick's/Ice Pilots Ten Year Anniversary Team presented by the Pensacola News Journal will be announced on March 17 when the Ice Pilots play host to the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05 p.m.

The voting ends on February 21, 2006. The Top Ten Moments in Ice Pilots History will be announced on WEAR TV 3 with Sports Director Dan Shugart.
Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award once again this se! ason. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace H ardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Brendan Cook is second on the team in scoring with 27 points followed by Luke Fulghum with 23 points and Nick Lindberg with 22 points.
