Ice Pilots look for game night volunteers

PENSACOLA, FL -- The Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL are looking for people interested in volunteering for Game Night Staff at one of the 36 Pensacola Ice Pilots home games. Those interested in helping out are asked to come out to 'The Job Fair', at the Ice Pilots Office (rear of the Civic Center), 201 E. Gregory St. - Rear, on Tuesday, September 13 from 5-7pm.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are willing to work in the following areas:
- Assisting Director of Game Day Operation with on/off ice game-night activities, including promotions, anthems, pre-game or post-game ceremonies, arena events, mascot, etc.
- Play a pivotal role in pumping up the crowd by helping to create a positive and energetic experience for our fans.
- Assist with Game Day Promotional special events
- For internship, a minimum of 10-15 hours of office duties are need per week.
Some of the requirements include:
- Those who are energetic, athletic, fun and have strong people skills.
- Enthusiastic about sports.
- Ability to work as a part of a creative team, take responsibility and exhibit initiative.
- Being able to skate is a plus.
The excitement of Pensacola Ice Pilots hockey is less than two months away. The Ice Pilots home opener is set for Friday, October 27 when they host the Texas Wildcatters at the Pensacola Civic Center at 7:05 p.m. To get your seats reserved for all 36 home games, contact the Pensacola Ice Pilots Corporate Office -- for Full and Partial Season Ticket Packages at (850) 432-PUCK (7825).
