March 24, 2009 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Colorado Crush News Release
FORT COLLINS, CO - The Colorado ICE square off with their long-time rival, the Billings Outlaws, in their first 2009 IFL regular season game at the Budweiser Events Center at 7 p.m. this Saturday, March 28. This fierce division rivalry between the two teams began two years ago and continues to this day.
"This game will be a good measure of where we are at as a football team," Head Coach Collins Sanders said. "Billings is a highly-competitive team that is considered to be among the league's elite."
The Outlaws already earned one IFL win last week, trouncing the Sioux City Bandits, 82-12, while the ICE are coming off a 75-28 exhibition game victory against Colorado Football Conference's Northern Colorado Wolfpack.
"To open the season playing against a quality team like Billings is really exciting," ICE Owner John Cunningham said. "This is going to be one of the best games of the season."
Saturday's game theme is Youth Sports Night. Kids tickets are free (under the age of 12) with the purchase of every Adult ticket (good for tickets purchased after 3/23/09 and subject to availability).
