Former NFLers Helping Storm

March 24, 2009 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Sioux Falls Storm News Release

The Sioux Falls Storm (2-0) have already benefited from key former NFL players early in the 2009 season. Brent Little and Isaac Snell have both made huge impacts in the first two weeks of the IFL.

Little, previously of the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs has gotten off to a hot start scoring two touchdowns in two games. Brent leads the league in receiving yards with 159, and is tied for third in the league averaging 7 receptions and 79.5 receiving yards per game.

Snell, a versatile guard, who was with the Broncos, Jets, and Titans at one time, has stepped up for Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs to go back and forth between guard and center. He and the rest of the lineman have paved the way for an average of 48.5 yards a game on the ground including one touchdown. They have also given QB Terrance Bryant the time in the pocket to lead the Storm to the second ranked pass offense. Snell, and the Storm Offensive Line have only allowed 4 sacks in two games.

The Sioux Falls Storm plays their first home game Sunday, March 29, at 3:05 p.m. They host the Omaha Beef who enter Sunday's game with 1-0 coming off a win at home vs. the Wichita Wild. Season tickets and single game tickets are still available.
