
Ice-Gamblers Commence Playoffs this Friday and Saturday at Pan Am

INDIANAPOLIS-The first round of the 2014 USHL Clark Cup playoffs will pit the Eastern Conference champion Indiana Ice (42-11-7) against the Green Bay Gamblers (30-24-6). Games one and two are this Friday (4/11) and Saturday (4/12) at 7:05pm from Pan Am Pavilion.
The Ice and Gamblers split the four-game regular season series with both teams winning their two games on the road. Indy compiled a 5-2 victory and a 2-0 shutout in mid-March in Wisconsin, while Green Bay won 4-3 in overtime in early December at Pan Am Pavilion and posted a 4-2 victory over the Ice this past Friday from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The trio of Alex Talcott (3G, 2A), Jacob Pritchard (3G, 2A) and Brian Pinho (5A) combined for 15 points to lead the Icemen in the season series, while Hayden Stewart and Jason Pawloski both had a win between the pipes. Four different players had four points to pace the Gamblers, while Jared Rutledge secured both wins in net.
Tickets for the Clark Cup playoffs, presented by Ivy Tech, remain the same at $15 for reserved seating and $10 for standing room only and can be purchased on Ticketmaster or through the Indiana Ice office at (317) 925-4423.
