PENSACOLA, Fla. (August 1, 2014) - T he Back to Back 2013 & 2014 SPHL President's Cup Champion and 2014 Regular Season Champion Pensacola Ice Flyers are entering their sixth season and have released the 2014-15 regular season schedule.

The Ice Flyers will start their season on the road Friday Oct. 24 vs. the Mississippi Riverkings for their first of ten meetings (six in Southaven, four in Pensacola). They will return home the following night with a special championship celebration on Saturday, Oct. 25 against the Columbus Cottonmouths in a rematch of the SPHL's 2014 President Cup finals, the first of 10 matches on the season (five in Columbus, five in Pensacola). The historical night will feature the raising of both the 2013-14 SPHL championship banner & regular season champion banner to the rafters of the Pensacola Bay Center, the championship ring presentation, and championship jersey auction, along with pre- and post-game events.

The Ice Flyers will face off against their I-10 rival, the Louisiana IceGators, a total of 13 times (seven in Lafayette, six in Pensacola) starting in Pensacola on Tuesday Nov. 11. The Ice Flyers remaining games feature; 8 vs Fayetteville, 7 vs Huntsville, 5 vs Peoria and 3 vs Knoxville. They will wrap up the regular season in Fayetteville with back to back games on March 27 & 28.

All Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday home games for the Ice Flyers will begin at 6:35 p.m. while Friday and Saturday games will have a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. Sunday games will have a 4:05 p.m. start time.
