Ice Flyers First Round Playoff Dates Set

Dates have been locked in for the Ice Flyers' first round best-of-three match up with their arch rivals, the Mississippi Surge.
The Ice Flyers will host the first game of the series in the Hangar on Friday March 30 at 7:05 p.m. and travel to Biloxi for game two the next night Saturday March 31 and that will also be a 7:05 p.m. faceoff. If the series needs to go to a deciding third game, it will take place in the arena of the higher seeded team on Sunday April 1 with a 5:05 p.m. start time.
The Ice Flyers are still fighting for the fourth seed in the SPHL President's Cup playoffs. They currently sit in fourth place just one point ahead of the Surge. Both teams have two games remaining with the Surge playing at the Huntsville Havoc tonight and host the Louisiana IceGators Saturday night. The Ice Flyers host the IceGators on Friday and the Mississippi RiverKings Saturday.
