
ICE Down Hitmen 5-3 in Home Opener

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE picked up a 5-3 victory over its division rival, the Calgary Hitmen, in its Home Opener at Western Financial Place on Saturday night.
It is the second straight season the ICE have defeated the Hitmen in its season opener.
Connor McClennon scored two goals while Peyton Krebs collected two points (1G, 1A). Jaeger White was solid in his ICE debut, registering two assists in the game. Goaltender Duncan McGovern stopped 33-of-36 shots.
