
Ice Dogs Sign Another National Champ

Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that forward Kevin Ulanski has agreed to terms for the 2005-2006 season. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 5'11", 195-pound native of Madison, Wisconsin won two National Championships at the University of Denver. In four years, Ulanski led his class with 112 points (33 goals, 79 assists) in 151 games played. Last season as an alternate captain, he played on Denver's top line while helping the team win their second consecutive National Championship. He is tied for eighth on Denver's all-time list with eight game winning goals during his college career. He joins fellow teammate Jonathon Foster, who was also recently signed by the Ice Dogs.
"Kevin is a very well rounded player", said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Malcolm Cameron. "He's exciting to watch and multi-dimensional, while exhibiting tremendous heart and leadership abilities."
"I'm excited to get going", said Ulanski. "I've heard great things about Long Beach from other players and I'm looking forward to joining one of my former teammates out there as well."
